It’s no secret that I love a good 10×10 wardrobe challenge. So of course I turned to this tried and true method to create a mini capsule for my maternity wardrobe. For those who are or have been pregnant, you understand that your wardrobe becomes increasingly smaller as the pregnancy progresses. This can leave you with that feeling of you have nothing to wear, but in this case it’s true!
I spent too much time planning my maternity wardrobe (check it out here), because I decided I only wanted to buy pieces that can be used during and after pregnancy. I didn’t want to spend money on pricey maternity-specific pieces that could only be worn for so little of time. I’m pleased that all my effort paid off to create a chic but comfortable mini capsule that doesn’t sacrifice my style or aesthetic. By purchasing a few strategic pieces, I was able to create 10+ looks with the pieces that still fit me in my closet.
Normally I would try and keep my 10×10 wardrobe challenge to exactly 10 pieces, including accessories. But because pregnancy creates more of a challenge, I decided to leave out accessories altogether as part of the 10.
