When I think of summer wardrobe must haves, a linen blazer is high on that list. Not only is it a practical piece but it also is incredibly versatile.
Mine is Everlane’s Cotton-Linen Blazer in Bone, which has an oversized fit. If you tend to go for lighter neutrals in the summer, a cream color blazer will work nicely with what you have in your wardrobe, but it really can go with any other color. An oversized fit is perfect for balmy weather so it gives you a bit of room, especially in the underarms. And if you use natural deodorant, having some breathing room under your arms is a nice feature. If blazers aren’t you thing, try a moto linen jacket. I found one in a light tan color that is just as versatile as my linen blazer.
Whether you go for a blazer or another stye of jacket, you want a piece of linen outerwear in your wardrobe. Not only to keep you warm on chilly summer nights, but also on the plane while traveling. Truly a workhorse in your summer wardrobe.
