While my overall collection is quite small, I have curated a small collection of pieces for my everyday jewelry. My goal is to create a capsule collection that focuses on solid gold jewelry with natural stones.
After going through a heavy costume jewelry faze in the past, I would like to stick to a more minimal fine jewelry collection. My favorite thing about jewelry is the story it tells, especially when it is gifted or handed down. That was the case with most of my jewelry when I was younger, but there’s nothing wrong with buying pieces for yourself. Now when I create my seasonal wishlist, I make sure to add jewelry to the list, otherwise its an easily forgotten category.
While a fine jewelry collection will obviously take some time to build up, I have discovered some brands that offer more affordable options. Cutting out the middle man seems to be popular, even among jewelry companies. All the better for us! I’ve tried and love Noémie and Aurate, I also have my eye on Mejuri, CatBird, Quince and Kinn.
